Often this letter is the first contact you have with a prospective employer.

REsumeThe purpose of a resume is to provide a summary of your skills, abilities and accomplishments. It is a quick advertisement of who you are. It is a "snapshot" of you with the intent of capturing and emphasizing interests and secure you an interview.

resignationThe purpose of a resignation letter is to advise your employer of your intention to resign from your current position within the company. Your resignation letter should be kept brief, or short. Do not include any hostile feelings you may have about the workplace.
